The apartment is located in the Eixample district in a middle-class residential area. Both the area and the flat are very quiet at night and it is completely safe at all times to walk in the street or take public transport. The apartment is within walking distance of La Fira (Barcelona's exhibition centre) and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. The nearest subway station is Rocafort (line 1), two streets from the apartment. It takes ten minutes (three stations) to get to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. There are also several bus lines, but the underground is the best way to go downtown.
