Beautiful 70m2 apartment, perfectly located in the centre of Barcelona. The apartment, which accommodates up to five people, has been completely renovated. It contains one en suite bedroom (double bed with leather headboard, large dressing room and bathroom complete with Jacuzzi), a second bedroom with a single bed and a foldaway bed (which, when open, attaches to the main bed), and a second bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is self-contained and fully equipped (ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge, large extractor fan, coffee maker, juicer, kettle). The living-dining area is very light and spacious with a leather sofa, wooden dining table and leather chairs; there is a flat screen TV with a DVD player and a stereo system. The apartment also has a gallery off the living-dining area, which contains a wardrobe and foldaway bed. This area can be kept separate from the lounge with a lovely leather screen, which means the lounge doesn’t have to double as a bedroom and privacy is ensured. The apartment contains wooden flooring throughout, gas heating and air conditioning in the main bedroom suite; the smaller bedroom and lounge area both have ventilators. The building has a lift; its nineteenth century façade has recently been reformed and the caretaker’s area is in the process of being renovated. The apartment is in a prime location: just five minutes walk from the famous Paseo de Gracia where we can find Gaudi’s La Pedrera and other modernist buildings of equal importance. Paseo de Gracia is the upmarket shopping street of Barcelona where many luxury stores can be found, including: Cartier, Dolce & Gabana, Bulgari and Carolina Herrera. There are also a good variety of restaurants. Parallel to Paseo de Gracia another significant Barcelona street can be found: Rambla Catalunya, at the bottom of which is Las Ramblas, the ideal place to go out and have a drink in the evening. There is a metro station five minutes walk from the apartment (two stops from Plaza Catalunya and two stops from Tibidabo). There is also a chemist nearby and an excellent food market.
To our valued clients, please be informed that the lift is small and cannot accomodate a pram.
There is ongoing renovation on the first floor which may cause some inconvenience but does not in any way affect access to the apartment.
