Description
Modernist building of the architect Jeroni Francesc Granell Manresa, disciple of Antonio Gaudi. Year 1902. Its facade, in tones of green pastel with flower patterns, and its hand-made balcony, caracterise well this period of Barcelona in al its splendor.
Its location is excelent, in the street Gran de Gracia, tipical district of Barcelona (like Portobello Road in London). To enter in this modernist building is to travel back 100 years, its ornated ceilings, its mosaïque floors, its vitrals of wonderful colors on the terrace, the gallery, converting it into a space made for reading, resting, get-togethers, or napping.
In the Modernist / art nouveaux / jugendstil period, the artisans would decorate one of the salons with grand ceramic fireplaces, giving thus a comfy and warm feeling to the apartment.
Its 290m2 will also give a feeling of space and well-being.

We really enjoyed our stay in this amazing unique old world apartment. Loads of space in a great location. A must for any appreciator of Art Nouveau. Not suitable for small curious children. A bit of a clean up of the terrace outside with table and chairs and more facilities for cooking and washing inside would make it even more attractive. Would definitely stay here again and introduce other art and architecture lovers to it. Very efficient service by Christian of the agency. Thank you. Rebecca.

Amazing apartment: huge and full of character. Wouldn't recommend for children but anyone else will love it.
