Recently renovated, 2008. This is a very good standard apartment located on a pedestrian street in a quiet area in the Gothic quarter, just 100m from the Paseo de Colon.
There are shops and restaurants close by, and it is a short walk or bus ride to Barceloneta beaches and no more than 10 – 15 minutes walk to the famous Las Ramblas.

The Gothic Quarter is the historical centre and the oldest part of the city of Barcelona. It is considered the centre of the political and institutional representation. Some of the most interesting places of this neighborhood of Barcelona are: the Cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria del Pi and the squares (the Plaza del Rei, the plaza Real,the plaza del Pi and La Plaza Sant Jaume with the City hall of Barcelona and the Government of Catalunya). The Gothic Quarter is going down from Plaça Catalunya to the Ramblas, the famous 2 km boulevard ending at the harbour of Barcelona. The Gothic Quarter can be distinguished by its narrow streets and squares full of stores, street-cafés, terraces, bars and restaurants.

Brilliant location, though too much night noise.
Please upgrade toilet, rest of appartment very good and great value, great for mixed group.
