The apartment is very quiet and sunny and has a large window that directly faces Las Ramblas The apartment is located in the middle of Las Ramblas, the most legendary and renowned street in Barcelona. Las Ramblas is a spectacle in itself with its many and varied pedestrians (200,000 daily) and its emblematic buildings of Barcelona such as the Gran Teatro del Liceo and the famous food market of La Boquearía.
A short 5 minutes walk takes you to Plaza Catalunya and the luxurious avenue Paseo de Gracia, where you can admire the magnificent buildings of the great modernist architect Antonio Gaudí (Casa Mila / La Pedrera and Casa Batllo) and enjoy a day of shopping in the most prestigious international boutiques (Armani, Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, etc...).
From Las Ramblas you can access the Gothic Quarter, the oldest of the city, where the Cathedral, the imposing gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar and many museums (Picasso, Maritime History). We encourage you to enjoy its narrow streets, terraces, bars and markets (Santa Caterina).
Las Ramblas ends at the Plaza del Portal de la Pau, the monument for Christopher Columbus and the marítimo Moll de la Fusta which provides access to the Paseo del Born, with its cutting-edge shops and bars, the Port Vell with its beautiful Maremagnum shopping and leisure, and the beaches of Barceloneta as well as the Olympic Village.
