The apartment is located in the Eixample-district. It can be said that the district of the Eixample (or “El Ensanche”, like this district is called in Spanish) is the centre of Barcelona, because of its geographic location and for being the most important business, economical and shopping district of Barcelona. The Passeig de Gràcia, which starts at Plaça Catalunya, is the most elegant avenue of Barcelona, where almost every great designer has its own store, such as Gucci, Armani, Hugo Boss, etc. Furthermore, the street houses some of Antoni Gaudí´s masterpieces, like La Pedrera (also known as Casa Milà) and Casa Battló. The apartment was cold and there was little space to hang washing. But overall it was clean and tidy, and the location is very good for both central Barcelona and access to the Metro system. Easy check-in and check-out.

We were a family with older children. Location great for sightseeing and shopping.Supermarket close by. Apartment was positioned on busy street corner next to university and over metro station so very noisy some nights.Exceptionally clean and spacious with basic but essential equipment provided. 2 cooker rings didn't work but managed ok without
