The show is based on the novel, Ben Hur – a Tale of Christ, by Lew Wallace and tells the story of the life and destiny of the Jewish prince Judah Ben Hur at the beginning of the 1st century. The production will be accompanied by an emotional symphonic ‘soundtrack created by Stewart Copeland “The Police”, an English speaking narrator, as well as 400 performers and 100 animals including horses, donkeys, ponies, falcons and eagles.

Hidden in an alley of Alcantara, the Painel is one of the best restaurants in Portuguese cuisine in Lisbon. From the entries, an irresistible ham and cheese, the cellaret and homemade desserts, everything is delicious. The menu is diverse and has different specialties daily.
