And to give you even some information to entertain your guests during a dinner at home, some extras about the Primavera Sound Festival’s History

The San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival is an event that takes place in Barcelona, usually between May and June. Since 2005 the festival moved to the Parc del Fòruma site.

Pixies, and Pavement have been announced as headliners, with latest acts including Pet Shop Boys, The Charlatans, Sunny Day Real Estate, Broken Social Scene, Gary Numan And Marc Almond, see the bottom of this listing for the full confirmed line-up.

The festival collaborates closely with All Tomorrow’s Parties who curates one of the four big stages. ATP takes place one week earlier and many of the acts on that festival also perform on this festival. The festival attracts approximately 60.000 visitors per edition. Also, daytime performances take place in a park somewhere else in Barcelona. These smaller performances have a free entrance.

Situated right on the coast with some stages on the beach, it has a beautiful atmosphere to soak up some brilliant music. Primavera Sound 2010 takes place at the Parc del Forum, Barcelona, Spain between Thursday 27th until Saturday 29th May.

Primavera Sound offers six outdoor stages and one of the biggest auditoriums in Europe. With events throughout Barcelona for the week surrounding the festival, this is more like a massive summer party than the usual festival.
