Lisboa é conhecida por realizar uma das maratonas mais interessantes do mundo. Uma fantástica oportunidade para atravessar a Ponte 25 de Abril, um dos pontos turísticos mais emblemáticos desta cidade e a maior ponte da Europa.
O percurso permite aos seus participantes visitarem, durante a competição, algumas das principais atracções lisboetas, nomeadamente o Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, o Cristo Rei, ou o Museu da Electricidade.
Existem três percursos diferentes disponíveis, com diferentes níveis de dificuldade, mas, todos eles, oferecem a possibilidade de participar num evento internacional e conhecer melhor a cidade. Pessoas de todo o mundo visitam a capital do fado, agora na esperança de ganhar um dos vários prémios para os dez primeiros lugares da corrida.

Lisboa is known to hold one of the most interesting marathons in the world, and a fantastic opportunity to run over the Bridge 25th of April, one of the emblematic sights of this town and the longest bridge in Europe.
The Course allow to its participants to visit while running and competing, some of the key points of the Portuguese capital as the Jerónimos Monastery, Christus Rex, or the Electricity Museum.
There are three different courses with different degrees of complexity but, all of them, offer the great adventure to know this city and participate in an international event. People from all over the world are visiting this year the capital of fado in order to win one of the trophies, or one of the multiple prizes for the top ten.

The Solidarity Fair New Future – Rastrillo 2011
The Solidarity Fair New Future – Rastrillo, a supportive space where you can find the ideal gifts for Christmas at reduced prices, is back to Lisbon. The event is attended by Maria Cavaco Silva and S.A.R Dona Pilar de Borbón of Spain, for the opening of the Fair on the 25th at 12.00.
In times of crisis and with the approach of Christmas, the spirit of solidarity is more present and the Portuguese can, with a small gesture, to help raise funds for the New Future Association, whose mission is to support children and young people regardless of age, race, sex or religion who have been deprived of a suitable family environment.
The visitor has at his disposal 47 stalls with a wide and varied range of products for sale, donated by companies, businesses or private individuals, provided household linen, crockery, glassware and decorative items, books, cosmetics and perfumery, women wear child and man, baby items, toys and second hand items.
To provide animated and relaxed moments, the organization has created several restore points and will toast the visitors with musical moments throughout the fair
