El 15 y 16 de noviembre no pierda la segunda edición del evento sobre el espíritu empresarial, la innovación, las mentes abiertas, intercambio de ideas y ‘networking’ inspirado que va a traer a Lisboa los gerentes de empresas como Google y Second Life.
Evento integrado en la Semana Global de Emprendimiento, fue organizada por la Beta-í con el objetivo de inspirar a los gerentes y talentos portugueses con la presencia de empresarios internacionales.
En esta edición, el evento contará con varias actividades paralelas durante el mes de noviembre con un ciclo de cine, un concierto y seminarios en las universidades, con el objetivo de acercar al público con los temas de la iniciativa empresarial y de la innovación.
Los días 15 y 16, los días centrales del evento, se puede ver tres seminarios paralelos dadas por conferencistas internacionales y una conferencia abierta al público donde se discuten temas relacionados con el espíritu empresarial, la tecnología y los negocios.
Silicon Valley comes to Lisbon
On 15 and 16 November do not miss the second edition of the event about entrepreneurship, innovation; open minds, exchange ideas and inspired ‘networking’ that will bring to Lisbon managers that are in charge of companies like Google and Second Life.
Event integrated in the Global Entrepreneurship Week, was organized by the Beta-I with the aim of inspiring managers and Portuguese talents with the presence of international entrepreneurs.
In this edition, the event will have several parallel activities during the month of November as a cycle of cinema, a concert and workshops in universities, with the aim of bringing the public to the themes of entrepreneurship and innovation.
On days 15 and 16, the main days of the event, you can participate in three parallel workshops given by international speakers and go to a conference open to the public where will be discussed topics related to entrepreneurship, technology and business.

Lisbon Week – Get to know Lisbon
The 1st edition of the Lisbon Week starts next October 22 and ends on October 28.
Lisbon Week is a cultural and tourism project created by XN Brand Dynamics and done in partnership with the Lisbon City Hall.
For 7 days starting from each of the seven hills of Lisbon you will be able to discover the city in different ways. Art, History, Sightseeing, Food, Music, Fashion and Tradition are the themes of the 7 routes. Each route was designed by each ambassador, names like José Avillez, José Cabral, José Pedro of the Xutos e Pontapés Band, Isabel Sarmento, João Botelho, Carlos Coelho and José Sarmento de Matos will present their readings of Lisbon.
Each route will present a different and contemporary city. You will be able to visit galleries, shops, museums, bars, churches, theaters, palaces and streets. The starting point will be the view point of São Pedro de Alcântara.
An event not to be missed as it promises to discover Lisbon in a new way.
Lisbon Week – Conhecer Lisboa
A 1ª edição do Lisbon Week arranca no próximo dia 22 de Outubro e termina no dia 28 de Outubro. Lisbon Week é um projecto turístico e cultural criado pela XN Brand Dynamics e feito em parceria com a Câmara Municipal de Lisboa.
Durante 7 dias partindo de cada uma das 7 colinas de Lisboa vai poder descobrir a cidade de diferentes maneiras. Arte, História, Panorâmica, Gastronomia, Música, Moda e Tradição são os temas das 7 rotas. Cada uma das rotas foi desenhada por um embaixador, nomes como José Avillez, José Cabral, José Pedro dos Xutos e Pontapés, Isabel Sarmento, João Botelho,Carlos Coelho e José Sarmento de Matos vão apresentar as suas leituras de Lisboa.
Cada rota apresentará uma visão diferente e contemporânea da cidade. Irá visitar galerias, lojas, museus, bares, igrejas, teatros, ruas e palácios tendo como ponto de partida o Miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara.
Um evento a não perder pois promete fazer conhecer Lisboa de uma nova forma.
Barcelona vs. Madrid – Supercopa 2012
Today Thursday the 13th at 22.30 local time it once again is time for arguably the biggest spectacle in Spain`s national football league, the “Supercopa”. The Spanish Super Cup is a match agains the winner of the previous national league (La Liga) contra the winner of the Kings Cup (Copa del Rey). In the previous months Madrid clearly accumulated the most points in the national league while Barcelona proved unstoppable in the elimination based Kings Cup.
The Match F.C. Barcelona vs. Real Madrid is here referred to as el “El Clásico” because those two teams are by far the strongest in Spain (and maybe even in the world) and an encounter of those two, fired by political differences is always a heated and emotional match of epic proportions. This and the fact that the Cup which decides the ultimate Champion of Champions is at stake, surely make for the football event of the year.
This day is also going to be a milestone for the team of Barcelona since for the first time in many years they have to stand their ground without their former coach and legend Pep Guardiola. After 14 title gains he stepped down and is replaced by his friend and trainee Tito Vilanova. How will the switch affect the team? Well the only way to find out is to watch the match.
Madrid holds the upper hand of the statistics with more Supercopas won but Barcelona defeated the rival just one year ago in the same league. You can only speculate which team is going to win since chances are even with two equally strong giants. The only sure winner is each and everyone who watches either at home or in each of the stadiums Santiago Bernabeu and Camp Nou.

“Veranos de la Villa” Madrid 2012
“Veranos de la villa” 2012 has become a key event in Madrid. Every year, from June to September, the capital fills up with fans came to admire the Art in all its forms, music, dance, theater, cinema, and much more!
Again this year the festival promises to be rich in emotions, with a program of uninterrupted carnival and concerts from the 27 of June to the 2 of September.
The festival will include three outdoor stages:
- El Matadero and El Conde Duque, the meeting of fringe music, theater, poetry, circus and summer cinema.
Metro: Noviciado / Plaza de Espana / Legazpi
- The Sabatini Gardens, with performances of zarzuela (operetta), ballet and flamenco.
Metro: Ópera / Plaza de España
- The Circo Price Theater, main-stage of this year, which will hold 25 concerts from the 27 of June to the 29 of July.
The festival features all musical styles: pop, indie, rock, funk, folk, reggae, flamenco, etc… Among other the and musicians are: rocker John Hiatt and Julieta Venegas (the 10 and 13), Jimmy Cliff at the reggae (the 16), the jazz vocalists Melody Gardot, Katie Melua and Pink Martini (the 19, 24 and 25), the Spanish singer Miguel Poveda and Tomatito (the 14 and 29), or world music major representatives as Omar Faruk (the 29).
And as a curiosity of this year, the famous Dr. House, Hugh Laurie real name, will sing with his band The Cooper Band Bottom at the Price in the 27 of July.
