This apartment is located in the  famous Sagrada Familia district , the touristic centre of Barcelona.  In this district, you can enjoy the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, the unfinished work of the great architect Antoni Gaudí, has become a pilgrimage for almost everyone who visits Barcelona.

The district of the Sagrada Familia, despite being a large touristic area, still has the charm of the old districts of Barcelona, with its small shops, traditional markets  and magnificent avenues.

Cascais Restaurant week

The village of Cascais debut on the wanderings of the Restaurant week , 3-13 November, offering meals at some of the town’s best restaurants at a fixed price of € 20. Why not RENT APARTMENT IN LISBON and try some meals?

Following the concept “outstanding cuisine at an affordable price,” more than 30 restaurants join this initiative to “democratize” access to quality homes and create menus for that value, one euro of each meal is offered to institutions for social solidarity, this time the ” Movimento Mulheres de Vermelho” and the “CrescerSer”.

The Web site of Restaurant Week can now be consulted as the Facebook initiative. At first you can see the participating restaurants in this issue and know the menu in each one. Table reservation is required. On Facebook it is advisable to mark the table reservation portal My Table.

‘The Presence of Things: The Still Life in Europe’ brings together works by 70 artists in Lisbon

‘Ginger Jar and Eggplants, “by Paul Cezanne, and’ Field of Sunflowers,” by Claude Monet, who belong to the collection of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, ‘The Sense of Speed’, Salvador Dalí, the painter borrowed by the foundation Catalan or ‘Still Life with Fan, “by Paul Gauguin, courtesy Musée d’ Orsay in Paris, are four of the 93 works that can be seen in Portugal, in the exhibition ‘The Presence of Things: The Still Life in Europe , which opens Oct. 21 in the Gulbenkian Museum. Optimus Alive! 2011

Coldplay, Iggy Pop, Foo Fighters and Thirty Seconds To Mars are part of the huge poster Alive!2011, Which this year celebrates the fifth edition with an extra day of music. It will fit Algés Promenade between 6 and 9 July.

The Alive! distinguished from the rest by offering festival-goers live encounter between the three vertices: art, science (including through partnerships and events on site), and of course music. This is obviously the stronger plate.

And the corners of the musical activities also appear in trio. The Stage Optimus, the main names that are reserved for bigger crowds move. The Stage Super Bock, aimed more urban sounds, with the potential for dance rhythms and, above all, to discover new music, is becoming less a secondary stage: Grinderman, Primal Scream, Patrick Wolf, Dizzee Rascal, Fleet Foxes are some between the large entourage that goes there. On Stage Clubbing Optimus, the idea is to get into theme nights, which can range from presentation of the parade of Enchufada to Boyz Noise Records, through Love and Rage by Steve Aoki of Dim Mak. This year’s Alive! also has a bandstand, ready to receive the fighting men and several groups of traditional Portuguese music.
