Wallpeople is a collaborative art project created by two creative advertising, Pablo Quijano and David Marcos, to reclaim the public space as a mean of expression and interaction.
In the fourth edition of Wallpeople, June 1st, will involve more than 40 cities and music will be featured in this edition. One of the most special things about music is that has no boundaries and is present in all cultures. One of the most special things is that music knows no boundaries, is present in all cultures and is able to influence and merge with any form of art or expression.
The Wallpeople Music Edition will take place in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon and Miami, all those great places where Rent4Days is offering its popular vacation apartments. If you like the idea of Wallpeople we recommend you see it in one of those cities.
Participants can express their relationship with music in two ways: reinterpret a song in your favorite art form (illustration, photography, text, painting, collage), or create any work related to music in general (tribute to an artist or group, a concert, your favorite musical style). The event will last between 3 and 4 hours and at the end participants can share their works.
During the event, participants are invited to take pictures of the works, as well as the wall as a whole, and publish in the official Wallpeople facebook and twitter with the hash-tagging #Wallpeople2013.
