Wallpeople is a collaborative art project created by two creative advertising, Pablo Quijano and David Marcos, to reclaim the public space as a mean of expression and interaction.
In the fourth edition of Wallpeople, June 1st, will involve more than 40 cities and music will be featured in this edition. One of the most special things about music is that has no boundaries and is present in all cultures. One of the most special things is that music knows no boundaries, is present in all cultures and is able to influence and merge with any form of art or expression.
The Wallpeople Music Edition will take place in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon and Miami, all those great places where Rent4Days is offering its popular vacation apartments. If you like the idea of Wallpeople we recommend you see it in one of those cities.
Participants can express their relationship with music in two ways: reinterpret a song in your favorite art form (illustration, photography, text, painting, collage), or create any work related to music in general (tribute to an artist or group, a concert, your favorite musical style). The event will last between 3 and 4 hours and at the end participants can share their works.
During the event, participants are invited to take pictures of the works, as well as the wall as a whole, and publish in the official Wallpeople facebook and twitter with the hash-tagging #Wallpeople2013.

The Black Keys and Jason Mraz concerts in November
In November Lisbon will host two major concerts!
On November 19 acts Jason Mraz. The American artist who became known with the single I’m Yours brings to Portugal the new studio album, Love is a Four Letter Word. Tickets cost between € 29.00 and € 39.00. Doors open at 18h30 and the show starts at 20h00.
On day 27 the act of The Black Keys. The celebrated American duo consisting of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney includes the Portuguese capital on the world tour to promote the latest album El Camino, released last year following the most celebrated album of his career, the award winning Brothers. After over a decade of activity, The Black Keys have now eight studio albums, as well as dozens of singles and EPs. After being acclaimed by audiences and critics international (have been assigned three Grammys to date), they will conquer the Portuguese public.

Week of Concerts in Madrid
Madrid will become a great musical reference for the first week in October.
Miguel Bosé will be back on stage with his new tour “Papitwo” on October 4th, which will be played in the “Palacio de los Deportes” in Madrid. The male singer is an icon in music pop and a real symbol in Spain, Italy and Iberoamerica.
On October 5th, the legendary Leonard Cohen arrives to Madrid with his new and famous record “Old Ideas”. The popular Canadian, with his distinctive voice and more than fifteen albums, also got the “Principe de Asturias” prize last year, an award to his literary works. The concert will be taking place in the “Palacio de los Deportes”.
You’ll be able to watch the popular The Cranberries in the “Palacio Vistalegre The Arena”, on October 5th too. It’s two years since the last concert of the irish group in Spain, and they have chosen Madrid to release his new work. It’s a rare opportunity to watch a music group who has already sold 40 millions of records in all the world.
Jorge Drexler will play on Saturday 6th. The popular iberoamerican singer and compositer has won an Academy Award and he has written songs for famous singers as Pablo Milanés, Ana Belén… It will be a feast for everyone who likes good music and you’ll can enjoy it in the “Teatros del Canal”.
The next day, on Sunday 7th, will be the turn of the spectacular Jennifer Lopez, who will introduce the new versions of her all great hits. The perfomance, which is part of her “Dance Again, World Tour,” will be taking place in the “Palacio de los Deportes” too.

Belém Art Fest
On September 22 museums open their doors in a single night with exhibitions, workshops, concerts and live music from national artists and bands.
In the Coach Museum (once School of Equestrian Art, founded in 1905 by Queen D.Amelia), you can attend concerts of artists like Teresa Lopes Alves, Ana Maria Bobone and Pedro Moutinho.
The Archaeology Museum, established in 1893, will be the stage for concerts of Uamusse Selma, The Soaked Lamb and Elisa Rodrigues. You can also watch exhibitions and parades of Lisbon School of Fashion and also a Make up workshop by L’Oréal.
The Museum of Popular Art will receive NWFD, The Doups and Youthless. The painter Pedro Madeira Pinto and the photographer Diogo Santos will present some of their work in workshops and to finish the evening you can watch the piece“Made in China”.
