Popular architectural house built in the 19th century very cosy decorated in a traditional style with countryside materials and Portuguese style furniture’s. Located in a historical area where the parliament, the prime minister’s official residence with its gardens and also the “Basilica da Estrela” and the Estrela garden (the biggest one in Lisbon) are the exlibris. In a 5 minutes walk from Principe Real where you can enjoy the Botanical Garden and Natural History Museum and in another 5 minutes walk you can either get to Bairro Alto the typical fado houses quarter or the 24 of July Avenue at the river side where you can enjoy night life, restaurants and discos. You might, as well catch the 28th tramway witch will take you to St. Georges Castle trough Baixa Pombalina, the Lisbon See and the Sta Luzia belvedere. In this quarter you can visit the most famous fado singer Amalia´s Museum House and the antique shops in S. Bento Street. The “Rato” underground station is about 350 metres or 5 minutes walk. Near Rato lies a big cistern call “Mãe de Água” and the last stretch of the Aqueduct of Águas Livres, the famous masterpiece built in John the fifth’s reign. You may also visit “Vieira da Silva/Arpad Szénes” Painting Museum and have a good meal at the famous restaurant “Casa da Comida”
